How copyright owners can report content on Toolifye and how we handle takedown requests.

Toolifye respects the rights of game developers, artists, and content creators. Every game on our site arrives through official game distribution feeds, and every game remains the property of its original owner. Still, mistakes can happen. If you believe something on Toolifye infringes your copyright, this page explains exactly how to tell us and what happens next.

1. Our position on copyright

We do not host game files ourselves. Games load directly from the servers of their developers or authorized distributors, and they appear on Toolifye through distribution feeds that developers submit their games to. We add titles, descriptions, and thumbnails from those same feeds.

In short, we only list games that reach us through official channels. If something slipped through that should not be here, we want to fix it fast.

2. Filing a takedown notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorized to act for one, and you believe your work appears on Toolifye without permission, send us a notice with the following details:

  1. Your full name and how we can contact you, such as your email address.
  2. The exact URL of the page on Toolifye where the content appears.
  3. A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
  4. Proof or a clear statement that you own the work or represent the owner.
  5. A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, made under penalty of perjury.
  7. Your physical or electronic signature.

Please send complete notices. Missing details are the most common reason a takedown gets delayed.

3. What happens after you file

When we receive a valid notice, we will:

  • Confirm we received it, usually within a couple of business days.
  • Review the claim and check the game and its source feed.
  • Remove or disable access to the content while we investigate, if the claim looks valid.
  • Let you know the outcome once the review is done.

4. Counter notices

If your game was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send us a counter notice. Include your contact details, the URL that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the removal was an error, and your signature. If the counter notice checks out, we may restore the content.

5. Repeat infringement

If a particular source or publisher repeatedly submits infringing content, we will stop listing games from that source.

6. How to reach us

Send your notice or any copyright question through the contact details on our About Us page. Please put DMCA in the subject line so it gets picked up quickly.
