Cookie Policy
What Toolifye stores in your browser, why we store it, and how you stay in control.
This page explains how Toolifye uses cookies and similar browser storage. The short version is that we keep things very light. We do not ask for your name, email, or any personal details, and we do not sell data to anyone. Here is exactly what happens in your browser when you use our site.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites store in your browser. Along with cookies, modern sites can also use something called local storage, which works in a similar way. Both help a website remember things between visits, like your settings or preferences.
2. What we store and why
Toolifye stores a few small things directly in your browser to make the site nicer to use:
- Theme choice. When you switch between dark and light mode, we remember your pick so the site opens the same way next time.
- Recently played games. The last few games you played are saved in your browser so we can show them on the homepage. This list never leaves your device.
- Your likes. When you like or dislike a game, we remember your vote in your browser so you do not vote twice by accident.
All of this stays on your device. None of it identifies who you are, and we cannot see it on our side.
3. Cookies from games and third parties
The games on Toolifye load from servers run by their developers and distributors. Some games may set their own cookies, for example to save your game progress or high scores. Some may also show ads, and those ad networks can set cookies of their own.
We do not control these third party cookies. If you want to know more about them, check the privacy policy of the game developer or ad network in question.
4. Analytics
If we use analytics tools to understand which games are popular and how the site performs, those tools may set cookies. Any analytics we use is for improving the site, not for building profiles of individual visitors.
5. How to control cookies
You are always in control. Every modern browser lets you:
- See which cookies and site data are stored.
- Delete cookies and local storage for a specific site or for everything.
- Block cookies entirely if you prefer.
You can usually find these options in your browser settings under Privacy. Keep in mind that if you clear storage for Toolifye, your theme choice, likes, and recently played list will reset. The site will still work fine.
6. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use cookies, for example by adding a new feature, we will update this page. The date below always tells you when it was last reviewed.
7. Questions
If anything here is unclear, we are happy to explain. You can reach us through the About Us page.
